IMPORTANT INFORMATION from INFOWAYS about SMS4SCHOOLS Dear SMS4Schools users, We are extremely honoured to be able to help your school community in any way we can, we love working with all of you and do our utmost to support you all as quickly and thoroughly as we can. Of late, due to COVID-19, our systems (and our supplier’s systems) have been extremely busy as a reflection of the hard work going on at every school across Queensland using SMS4Schools (more than half the state and growing!). This has put extra load on our systems and support which we are doing our best to cope with, please be patient with us. We are ramping up servers and processes internally to ensure there are no issues moving forward and will keep you updated. We are allowing access to SMS4Schools from outside school please just get your Principal ’s permission to do so and email us at [email protected] . We realise the current world status is hard for all of us, especially schools. We have recently been working with our Pilot schools to develop Learning tools via SMS in the event schools are closed. The new ‘Learning Tags’ option allows you to send credentials for MIS accounts or Mathletics, Math Online, Literacy Planet, Reading Eggsaccounts and more. This can be done with a few clicks to the whole of school, a certain year, class or individuals as needed. This will allow you to send messages such as: Dear Parent your students Mathletics Username is : bwelch2 and Password : 67fg@1 Dear Parent your students Literacy Plant Username is : bwelch2 and Password : Wr1t3it Parent your Students MIS credentials are as such Username : [email protected] and Password is : 8Ee3x@3 please login at https://education.qld.gov.au/curriculum/learning-at-home

These messages can be sent to the whole of school, a year or class or even individuals just
as you send SMS and Emails now using SMS4Schools.

Please also see the screen shot on the next page on how you can use the Learning Tags to
send credentials for learning systems from within Compose SMS or Compose Email. You can
even create templates for each message type to keep it uniform.
