Thank you for your interest in submitting a proposal at the 2019 Florida Association for the Education of Young Children (FLAEYC) Annual Conference. The theme for this year's conference is Best Practices in Early Learning for Florida’s Children. FLAEYC strives to incorporate a diverse array of presenters and workshops at the Annual Conference, including bilingual sessions and sessions that address the latest in research, trending topics, and best practices in the field. IMPORTANT DATES March 31, 2019 Due date for all conference proposals Mid May, 2019 Notification of acceptance (notice via email) June 15, 2019 Due date for presentation confirmation / acceptance to present September 4 -8, 2019 FLAEYC Annual Conference (Rosen Shingle Creek, Orlando, FL) GENERAL INFORMATION Please note: Submitting a proposal does not automatically guarantee acceptance. All submissions are reviewed and evaluated (peer-review process) before final selections for the conference are made. The peer-reviewers will base decisions upon various areas including: - Appropriateness of topic area as related to the field (early care and education) - Presenters’ expertise and experience - Clear articulation of learning outcomes, goals and objectives.
