IMPORTANT INFORMATION AND DATES FOR SEMESTER ONE 2014
We would like to take this opportunity to wish you a good rest and a brilliant 2014. We have included some importantinformation and dates below. Please read through it carefully.
Reminder: Information regarding 2014 registration can be found atwww.nmmu.ac.za/For-students/Registration
Should you be eligible for a re-exam/special exam/extra-ordinary exam, the fee of R270.00 per 2013 module will bedebited to your student account after the exam has been written and it is payable immediately. Kindly quote yourstudent number when making the payment.
The VIEWINGof examination scripts will be prohibited if your student account is in arrears. Appointm ents must bemade at least 48 hours in advance.Students with re-examinations will be given preference to view from 7 10January (before the re-examinations). Viewing stops on 10 January and continues after the re-examinations on 20January 2014.
International students are required to pay all fees upfront.
You will only be allowed to add 1stsemester modules after normal registration if you have attended lectures from day 1(10 February). The deadline of 28 February 2014 will apply.
Any registration after 8 February will be subject to a late registration fee.
If the addition of modules takes place after the payment due dates of the respective modules, you will be required topay upfront for the full cost of the modules as well as the Change of Registration Details fee.
You will not be allowed to exceed the approved number of credits by adding 2ndsemester modules. You will only beallowed to add modules in semester 2 if you have registered for less than the approved number of credits in January.
NOTEprovisional exam results will be published 5 working days after the last day of examinations in June.

Thu 17 Last day for module changes for the block of lectures that started on 7 April 2014
Thu 24Last day for cancellation of registration, as well as the cancellation of particularmodules for the purposes of June examinations
MAYMon 5 Publication of final June examination timetable with venues
Fri 30 End of second block of lectures
Publication of examination admission on noticeboards (12:00)
