In EU Youth Strategy it is stated that young people are one of the most vulnerable groups in the context of world economic crisis, so therefore work should be directed
towards achieving the following goals:

All researches, conducted by MoYS with institutes and research agencies, have shown that the main issue young people are facing is related to informing, employment and education (formal and informal).In NYS for each of these areas there is a set of general and a set of specific objectives and measures which relate to these three areas.
Youth needs in these areas are developed through SCGC and AP for its implementation
In the goal which refers to employment, self-employment and entrepreneurship of youth since 2007 MoYS has funded 69 projects with 54 million dinars which included over 40.000 young people

Action Plan for implementation for NYS
• Development of the Centre for Career Guidance and Counseling and Professional Information of Youth ( schools, KZM,universities/faculties ,NES..) development of their technical and staff capacities for providing support to youth to actively and efficiently manage their career, development of work standards with young people of different ages, etc..

• In RS budget sources are provided for funding programmes and projects in the area of youth sector, which encourage career guidance and counseling youth and organisingtraining, seminars and events relevant to employment , self-employment and youth

rehabilitation and employment of people with disabilities in
Belgrade, Kragujevac and Novi Sad) whose service users are
predominantly young
Different activities in schools and KZM directed towards
career informing and counseling implemented in
partnership of the ministries, units of local self-government,
NGO and international donors.
Increased number of non-government organisations dealing with career informing which is project-based and which help young people in career guidance and counseling, as well as increased number of services provided to young

CENTRE FOR CGC FUND FOR
SCHOLARSHIP HOLDERS
Фонд за младе таленте РС - од 2008. године од када делује у оквиру МОС-а
награђено је/стипендирано 10.800 младих; До сада је за стипендије/награде
утрошено око 2,8 милијарди динара
Центар за каријерно вођење и саветовање младих талента ради при МОС од
октобра 2009. године и пружа услуге каријерног информисања, инидивидуалног и
групног саветовања и повезује стипендисте Фонда са компанијама у циљу
реализације праксе и потенцијалног запошљавања. Кроз радионице за
професионални развој стипендисти стичу практичне вештине и знања потребне за
успешно управљање каријером.
До сада је услуге каријерног информисања, саветовања и радионице
професионалног развоја користило преко 3500 студената, стипендиста
Фонда.
Fund for Young Talents of RS - from 2008, since it has been operating
withing MoYS, 10.800 young people were awarded and they were awarded
scholarships; So far about 2.8 billion dinars has been used for
scholarships/awards
Centre for Career Guidance and Counseling of Young Talents operates at
MoYs since October 2009 and provides services of career informing,
individual and group counseling and connects Fund scholarship holders with
companies in order to deliver practice and to potentially get a job. Through
workshops for professional development scholarship holders acquire
practical skills and knowledge needed for successful career management.
So far services of career informing, counseling and workshops on
professional development have been used by over 3500 students,
Fund scholarship holders.
Tasks ahead of us...
Establishment of the National Resource Centre which would
coordinate activities of key actors and take care of development
of the overall CGC system in Serbia;
Establishment of a protocol on cooperation of key actors in the
development of CGC system;
Expansion of CGC services and making them more accessible to
end-users;
Development of standards, programmes and methodology of
CGC for all age groups;
Strengthening links with employers;
Linking Serbia with the network of the European policy of
lifelong guidance;
Continuous promotion of importance of CGC in order to:
- reduce early drop-out
- prevent wrong career choices
- comprehend importance of lifelong learning.
