8. Blank invoices, bills with foreign company’s names situated outside the Kingdom of

Saudi Arabia.

9. Advertising materials for smoking in all its types.

10. Crosses or any commodity with Photos, Drawings, Pictures, Engraving, Writings

include all periodicals, books and any other printing materials, CD’s, Cassettes,

contradicting with Islamic teachings and culture. Also printed matters and regulations.

11. Empty packings with the country of manufacturer (not KSA) for the purpose of packing

products.

12. Idols (contradicting with the Islamic Sharia and public morals) which are imported for

the purpose of selling in commercial quantities.

13. All kind of equipment’s, instruments, machines used for gambling in all its types.

14. Used or renewed tyre’s.

15. Birthday trees.

16. All Military arms and ammunitions, parts or components except those imported by the

authorized Government bodies.

17. Night binoculars thru which sighting in darkness is possible, binoculars which can take

night pictures / shots and binoculars used for locating targets.

18. Explosives and radioactive materials, in all its types, Potassium chlorates except with

official permission.

19. All fire plays types.

20. Medicines and medical preparations without the details of the ingredients and

components in conformity with the professional medical rules.

21. Commodities having the emblem of the Government of Saudi Arabia (Two swords

with a dates tree)

22. Nutmeg and nutmeg seeds and its powder (acceptable for import only when nutmeg

powder is part of mixture for spices within the allowable maximum percentage of 20.

23. Vouchers and coupons used for the Hajj (Pilgrimage) seasons charities.

24. Cameras capable of taking shots of naked bodies

25. Massaging apparatus which do not comply with the public morals.

26. Small vehicles and bikes for children with height not exceeding 50 cms above the

wheel axles and equipped with diesel, gas, petrol operated engines or those operated

by flammable substance and or batteries with speed exceeding 10 Km per hour.

27. Switches used for opening doors and vehicle doors.

28. Disturbing car horns (car sirens).

29. Disguising masks.

30. Importation of empty bags having trademarks or brands of food-stuffs, cement, etc of

companies except those imported by the national companies.

32. Specific knifes used for aggression such as the double-sword knives or those with

handles and grips.

33. Amusement machines containing hysterical laughs.

34. Lime powder used for sniffing tobacco.

35. Preparations that cause excitation of the human body organs.

36. Patterns having the seal of the Prophet.

37. Commodities having the names or photos of celebrities or stars.

38. Hides of Lion.

39. Bags, Suitcases with built-in radios, recorders or warning devices.

40. Vehicles antennas which resembles the antennas of Police vehicles and wireless

telephones.

41. Counterfeit money.

42. Potassium bromate used as bread improver.

43. Laser Porous Spectacles.

44. Mercury illuminated Shoes.

45. Toys in form of human hands which some drivers put in their vehicles in a noticeable

mode.

47. Import chicken & meat from Brazil: SAUDI FOOD & DRUGS AUTHORITY

(SFDA) officially banned 4 factories for beef & poultry from Brazil to KSA as

below:

· JJZ ALIMENTOS S.A. under Government health examination (code SIF 2156)

· FRANGO D M INDUSTRIA E COMERCIO DE ALIMENTOS LTDA under

Government health examination (code SIF 270)

· SEARA ALIMENTOS LTDA (JBS) under Government health examination (code

SIF 530)

· BRF S.A under Government health examination (code SIF 1010)

Any shipments from those suppliers to their main consignees will be rejected at KSA

from SFDA.

Rules on addresses Import: All cargoes to SAUDI ARABIA must have a consignee/notify party with full style address/phone number/fax number, E-mail ID and person to be contacted. If consignee is located in Saudi Arabia, Notify party does not need to be local. Local receiver is mandatory to be mentioned as consignee with the correct partner code. Export: For shipments loaded from Saudi Arabia, it’s NOT compulsory to have a local shipper on B/L.

Hazardous cargo: BL must bear correct and complete contact numbers of the consignees, preferably with name of PIC in consignee’s office and his mobile number.

The release at destination will be done only against presentation of at least 1/3 OB/L of each part load B/L issued.

(name of consignee on the letter produced by the consignee), irrevocably undertake and agree

• The consignees will nominate one party to represent them and it is this party to whom the

container will be delivered at destination against presentation of at least 1/3 original bills of

lading of each set issued.

Should one of the bills of lading not be available, the container will be held at the port of

discharge until receipt of the missing bills of lading.

• To indemnify and hold harmless CMA CGM, its underwriters, agencies, sub-agencies, all

their representative directors and employees harmless in respect of any liability, loss or

damage of whatsoever nature which you may sustain by reason of issuing (xxx) bills of lading

for an FCL/FCL container.
