Eco-Efficient Agriculture• The mission of CIAT is to reduce hunger and poverty and improve human health in the tropics through research aimed at increasing the eco-efficiency of agriculture.

• Eco-efficient agriculture meets environmental, social, and economic needs of the rural poor by being resilient, sustainable, competitive, and profitable.
