As part of the requirements in Psychology, specifically the course RMP2 – Research Method in Psychology II, I would like to conduct a research about Career Preference and Personality Types Among Freshman College Students of Colegio de San Juan de Letran, S.Y. 2010-2011. The study will consider the ten percent (10%) of the total population of the regular first year college students in each course offered by our institution. In connection with this, I would like to request the participation of the selected first year college students in all the courses under your department to be the subject of this study. The selected respondents will be given with Hall Occupational Orientation Inventory (HOOI), a standardized test used to assess the career preference of the respondents, and Six Personality Factor Questionnaire (SPFQ), a standardized psychological test used to assess the personality of the respondents. I would also like to request for the available schedule when I could possibly administer the tests to the selected respondents.
