The option of underfloor heating Our economical underfloor heating systems are

designed to gently warm the tiles from below, allowing

them to dry more quickly, whilst providing a luxurious

warm floor. For full details see page 39.

Is there room in your house for a wetroom?A wetroom is completely versatile and can be adapted for small ensuites or large

luxury bathrooms, upstairs or downstairs. If you have the space, a walk-in enclosure

with an Aqua-Screen fixed panel and no door is the perfect solution – see page 8. For

a smaller ensuite, our Aqua-Screen frameless enclosures, with beautifully hinged doors,

provide complete shower screening – see page 18.

WC on one of the side wall.

You can now replace the bath with a luxury

wetroom featuring an Aqua-Screen fixed

panel to create a walk-in shower area.

Aqua-Dec Floor FormersOnce you have determined the size of your Impey wetroom, your retailer will then

be able to recommend the size of Aqua-Dec Floor Former required (see page 33).

This provides the gradient in the floor to allow efficient drainage. The entire floor

is then sealed with a waterproof membrane prior to tiling.

Wetroom Glass Panels & EnclosuresAll Aqua-Screen Wetroom Panels and Frameless Shower Enclosures

feature Aqua-Shield, a microscopically thin coating applied to the

inside of the glass. This creates an incredibly smooth surface that

prevents build-up of deposits of lime scale and grime, which makes

cleaning both easier and less frequently required – 50 to 70% less

often. The surface will remain sparkling and will not discolour.

This unique design solution allows you to create a bold and

extremely distinctive style for your shower area. The 8mm

glass panel is supported by a beautifully engineered chrome

pillar to create a truly stunning visual effect. You also have

the option of full satin glass (shown on the left) or etched

modesty panels.

An optional storage system is available, featuring two adjustable chrome baskets that are perfect for keeping shampoo, shower gel and sponges close to hand.

AQUA-SCREEN LIGHT

With Aqua-Screen Light the 8mm glass panel is held firmly

in place by a precision engineered single tube and clamp

attached to the top edge. This can be wall or ceiling fixed

and as a further alternative, panels are available with shorter,

more discrete angled tie bar (see below left). You also have

the option of etched modesty panels (shown on the left)

or full satin glass.

AQUA-SCREEN LIGHT CURVEDAqua-Screen Light Curved can be fitted as two curved panels to

form a corner walk-in enclosure. This type of arrangement has

become very popular, but walk-in enclosures vary greatly in size

and how they use the space. The Impey approach is to provide the

maximum showering area whilst using the minimum footprint.

AQUA-SCREEN PURE

Aqua-Screen Pure offers you a beautiful selection of glass

panels fixed with slimline tubes and superbly engineered

brackets. As a further alternative, panels can be supported

with shorter, more discrete slimline tube with angled brackets

(see below). You also have the option of etched modesty

panels (shown on the left) or full satin glass.

Impey enclosures offer the minimal style of a wetroom panel with the added screening of a fully enclosed, 2m high shower area. All enclosures are designed and manufactured in the UK.

They are available in a range of shapes and sizes suitable for both left and right hand corners or alcoves and can be fitted on a wetroom floor. Alternatively, for a lower cost installation, we offer a range of stylish slimline showertrays.

SLIDINGBATHSCREEN

A new extremely stylish modern minimalist design, in 5mm

safety glass, which offers a host of practical features.

Unlike other sliding screens that tend to sag when extended

due to the weight of the glass, Impey’s ingenious ‘slide

and lock’ mechanism* keeps the screen rigidly in place and

perfectly level when fully extended - providing the best

seal with the edge of your bath. It also eliminates any risk of

the screen sliding back whilst in use.

The screen slides out easily on smooth action runners and

simply clicks into place. It can be extended and pushed

back to the wall, without leaving any finger marks, thanks

to the discrete chrome handle. Fully extended it measures

1065mm, making it Impey’s largest screen, which provides

even greater protection from shower spray. When not in

use and pushed back neatly to the wall it will take up only

650mm - offering greater access to your bath.

The AD5 features a structural upstand as part of the design. This is essentially a raised border on 2 sides of the ‘Dec’ which allows the drain to be positioned as close to the corner of the ‘Dec’ as possible while maintaining strength and rigidity. The structural upstand of the AD5 must not be trimmed as this will affect the structural integrity of the ‘Dec’.

Once you have decided on the size and position of your showering area you

need to choose the appropriate size of Aqua-Dec floor former – see pages 33-35.

Alternatively, for use on new pour concrete floors you have the option of

Aqua-Grade – see page 36. Drainage options are shown on page 37.

Step 2 – Waterproofing

Impey Tilesafe tanking membrane has been designed to provide a complete,

guaranteed watertight barrier to your wetroom see page 38.

Step 3 – Underfloor Heating

This helps dry the tiles and provides a luxurious warm floor. It is installed on top

of the waterproof membrane, underneath the tiles, avoiding floor mounted fixtures

– see page 39.

Step 4 – Wetroom panels and enclosures

Wetroom panels allow you to create a partially screened walk-in shower area

– see page 40-44. Alternatively, if you want to fully screen the shower area see

shower enclosures on page 45-46.

Aqua-Dec Advance Aqua-Dec Linear 2

Making installation even easier. The location of joists within

timber floors no longer presents a problem, as the 22mm thick

Aqua-Dec Advance includes a revolutionary drainage feature

that allows the installer to rotate the drainage point through

360° to any position in order to avoid the joist. The flow rate is

28-34 litres per minute depending on the room layout and size

of the Aqua-Dec.

Simply place the Aqua-Dec Advance where it will be installed and if the trap gully position interferes with a joist, just rotate the centre section until the trap is clear of it and fits the gully.

Aqua-Dec Linear

The Aqua-Dec Linear is 22mm thick and has all the features

and benefits of the standard Aqua-Dec, with the addition of

a 40mm linear drain made from stainless steel which allows

a higher flow rate. (40-50 litres per minute depending on the

room layout and the size of Aqua-Dec).NB: Trimming the edges of the Aqua-Dec Linear is NOT possible.

The Aqua-Dec LinearFlo drain

Aqua-Dec Linear comes complete with a LinearFlo drain,

which requires a minimum 111mm clearance below

the Aqua-Dec.

The Aqua-Dec Linear 2 is 22mm thick and has been specifically

designed to make tiling easier. Unlike the Aqua-Dec Linear, which

has four gradients, the Linear 2 models have only two gradients,

which mean you don't have to mitre the tiles in the corners.

Stainless steel inserts are supplied to finish the tile edges. The

flow rate is 35-42 litres per minute depending on the room layout

and the size of Aqua-Dec

NB: Trimming the edges of the Aqua-Dec Linear is NOT possible.

The Aqua-Dec Linear 2 should be installed between a wall and panel or two walls.

The Aqua-Dec LinearFlo drain

Aqua-Dec Linear 2 comes complete with a LinearFlo drain,

Aqua-Grade provides a quick and easy alternative way of creating the perfect gradient for new pour solid floors.

Colour coded modular sections quickly click together to form a matrix that you simply fill with screed.

First you locate the 600mm square starter section and mark the position of the feet and waste trap.

Chase out the sub-floor and fit the waste trap and pipe work.

Assemble and fit the remaining sections, ensuring that each section is level.

Fill the matrix with a fairly dry mixed screed and float over the surface so that the ridges of the Aqua-Grade are just visible.

Membrane Clamping RingThe membrane clamping ring secures the Tilesafe® tanking membrane into place creating a secure watertight seal at the drainage point.

Stainless Steel GrateOur drainage options are the most versatile on the market. The high quality stainless steel grate is 5mm thick and has a contemporary and modern design.

Height Adjustable RingsThe height adjustable rings rotate to vary the height to suit different tile depths. This unique feature means the gully can be used with varying tile depths between 6-26mm depending on waterproof membrane and adhesive thickness.

These have a height adjustable stainless steel top, suitable for

floor tiles 6mm-26mm deep.

Impey underfloor heating is designed to gently warm the tiles

from below, allowing them and the grout lines to dry more

quickly, whilst providing a luxurious warm feeling to the tiled

floor. It is very economical to run, with an output of only

100W per m2. The Aqua-Mat® thermostat comes with a 2 year

guarantee and the Aqua-Mat® heating mat comes with a

16 year guarantee.

Impey Tilesafe® is a flexible rubberised self-adhesive membrane

sheet that incorporates a tiling mesh that comes on a roll and

once applied there is no curing time so it is possible to tile

straight away. We advise that Impey Tilesafe® is used over the

entire floor area to guarantee a watertight finish.

Impey Tilesafe® tanking membrane is available in either 5m2 or

10m2 kit forms and in each kit you will receive:

• Self adhesive membrane sheet giving greater ease of use

• No curing time to enable faster installation

• Rubber modified bitumen waterproof layer to create an effective watertight barrier

• Woven glass fibre mesh to aid the key of the tile adhesive and give extra strength against shrinkage and expansion

Note: Because Impey Tilesafe® is a bitumen-based product it is only suitable for use with the Aqua-Mat® 100W undertile heating system. Other systems may run at higher temperatures and compromise the integrity of the tanking system.

Baths must have a flat rim and should be installed with top

edge horizontal. Any water that collects around the taps

should then drain into the bath. Baths must not have raised

handles or soap recesses that would prevent the bath screen

from providing an effective seal with the rim of the bath.

Failure to comply with the above may cause your bathscreen

to leak. The Bathscreen should be fitted so that the seal is in

contact with the inside edge of the bath as shown right.

Impey Showers Ltd guarantees its range of branded showering products against faulty materials or manufacture for a Lifetime, provided that they have been installed and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

The guarantee extends to non-electrical products in general use and excludes normal wear and tear. For products such as taps, shower valves, bathroom accessories, waterproofing and electrical products, the standard manufacturer's guarantee will apply. Where products included in the Lifetime guarantee are used for commercial use, such as hospitals, nursing homes or hotels, a 5 year guarantee will be applicable.

Parts that are defined as wearing parts, such as seals, seat pads etc, are subject to a 5 year guarantee. If in our opinion the product has been modified, neglected, misused or is the subject of accidental damage the guarantee will not be applicable.

Impey Showers Ltd has a policy of continuous improvement and therefore reserves the right to revise or amend the specification of any product without notice. In situations where a product has failed, subject to the terms of the guarantee, and a direct replacement is no longer available, Impey Showers Ltd will replace it with the nearest equivalent product.

The liability of Impey Showers Ltd does not extend to consequential loss or damage arising from the defective product and is limited to the price of the original goods supplied by Impey Showers Ltd.

The guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights.
