Before you begin make sure area is clean and free of sharp objects. Use of ground sheet is recommended to protect fabric and keep it clean.

Assemble upper frame by sliding eave tubes into corner casting to form a square.

Install cross cables diagonally by slipping the cable eye on inside hook of one corner to hook on opposite corner.

Connect second cable on to third corner. To attach cable to last corner, lift frame as shown. Cables should be tight and all corner castings should contact the ground.

Place a drop sheet or the tent top wrap bag over the cross cables. Roll out canopy on top of the frame and cables. Pull loose point of fabric to centre of frame. Position fabric so that the interior webbing loops are located over the corners of the frame.

To install last webbing loop, use a tent stake to lever the web-bing loops under the exterior eye of the corner casting. The fabric canopy is designed to be a tight fit on the frame. Connect snap hooks on guy ropes to the eye on corner casting for later use.

Lift one side of frame and insert one leg tube into corner cast-ing. Place footplate on bottom of leg tube. Connect the loop on the rope assembly to the horn of the footplate. Tighten rope to hold foot leg corner top assemble together. Repeat at second corner.

Working under the canopy, insert top of center pole through metal ring in the centre of tent top. Install pennant or flag from the exterior.The deep notch of bottom of the center pole should be set on uppermost cross cable approx. 3 feet (1 metre) from crossing point. Slide the bottom of the center pole in toward the cross-ing point of the cables. It should take a strong push to make it to center.

Snap the lower cross cable into second notch and use lynch pin to secure at the cables to the center pole.

Lift opposite side of the frame and install remaining legs, foot-plates and rope assemblies as before. Straighten all leg tubes and stake footplates. Adjust tension all rope ratchet asemblies evenly so that the canopy is tight and smooth.



9Using the guy ropes installed earlier, secure the tent to appro-priate anchorage a minimum of 6 ft (2 meters) away from the footplates.


10Install sidewalls and accessories if needed.
