Sacrament of Baptism: Call the Parish Office in advance to schedule. Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick: Those who are preparing for surgery, homebound, diagnosed with an illness, or advancing in years, are asked to contact the Parish Office for this Sacrament of God’s healing, mercy, and grace.

Sacrament of Matrimony: As part of Diocesan requirement, preparations should be made at least six (6) months in advance. Please contact the Parish Office for more details.

Back Pack Program Needs Your Help! The Winchendon Kiwanis school Back Pack Program has been moved to our parish for the summer until school resumes in the Fall. This program provides food to approximately 103 children of our community here in Winchendon. We are looking for sponsors for this program. The cost per bag is $5. If you would like to contribute, checks can be made out to Winchendon Kiwanis Backpack Program and dropped in collection basket. Any questions can be directed to Deirdre Holt @978-297-2885. Thank you for your help as we strive to make sure that no child goes hungry. Cemetery Lights For Sale: There are two types: a solar powered light and a candle operated version. They are available with red or blue globes. The solar powered light costs $145 and the candle version is $95. We have a few on hand, but can order them, they take a few weeks to arrive. Please contact the office if you would like to order one. Replacement 7 day candles are available as well for $10 each. Please Remember in your prayers: Janice Martin who passed away last week. Prayer, in other words, takes hold of God’s presence and gives us power over ourselves, not over God. Prayer gives us the chance to see ourselves in God’s eyes and therefore to live with self-respect, to leave in peace, and to live with the power not only to change our-selves but also the power to heal, love, and free others so they can see themselves in the same Light of God. Prayer liberates us!
