St. Juliana’s (Patron Saint of sickness) is a list of the people we are
currently praying for because of illness or in the military. To stay current ,
names on the illness list will remain for four weeks. The military list will remain until we are notified. Please call the office (842-3520) to request
continued prayers. To preserve the dignity and privacy of individuals, we
ask that only an immediate family member call to request publication of names. We will presume they have permission from the individual to do so.
Thank you for your understanding.

Angel Tree Ministry
Be an Angel to a child this Christmas.
An “Angel Tree” is on display at the back of the church this weekend and next. Please take the opportunity to
choose a gift tag from the tree (take the bottom half & put your name on the top half & leave on the tree) and bring joy to local children who have a parent in prison. Unwrapped gifts are to be returned with the bottom half of the gift tag by
Dec. 6th. Gift prices range from $25-$30. Monetary gifts are
welcome to defray expenses. Angel Tree Ministries is an ecumenical nationwide association. Please call Joyce Heath

St. Isidore News
Sunday, November 15th
Thirty-third Sunday in Ordinary Time
Current Threats to Religious Liberty:
HHS mandate for contraception, sterilization, and abortion-
inducing drugs: The mandate of the Department of Health and
Human Services forces religious institutions to facilitate and/or
fund a product contrary to their own moral teaching. Further, the
federal government tries to define which religious institutions are
“religious enough” to merit protection of their religious liberty.
Catholic foster care and adoption services: Boston, San Francisco,
the District of Columbia, and the State of Illinois have driven local
Catholic Charities out of the business of providing adoption or
foster care services—by revoking their licenses, by ending their
government contracts, or both—because those Charities refused to
place children with same-sex couples or unmarried opposite-sex
couples who cohabit.
State immigration laws: Several states have recently passed laws
that forbid what they deem as “harboring” of undocumented
immigrants. To see what the Church deems Christian charity and
pastoral care to these immigrants

IMMACULATE CONCEPTION
ADVENT PENANCE LITURGY
Wednesday, December 2nd
5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Advent candles and wreaths are available at the
entrance of each church or call the parish office.
Advent Prayer Families At Advent we prepare to celebrate the birth of
Christ. We are asked to pray for and look after each
other at this blessed time of the year. For our
Parish families who would like to participate, we
are asking you to write your family name and
address on a piece of paper and drop it in the box
(in the vestibule) simple as that! The box will be at
the entrance of the church until next weekend.
Then, on the weekend of Nov. 28th & 29th for each
family that has participated, remember to draw one
name out of the box, this will be your Advent Prayer
Family whom you are invited to pray for during this
Advent Season.
After the 4th Sunday of Advent you can send them a
Christmas card showing that you were their prayer
family and wish them a Merry Christmas!!
