Article 7.
UCN Business and UCN Technology's
instructions for students who did not manage tocomplete exams and courses on timera, Students should be aware that failure to appear foran exam or failure to hand in a project or a paper willcost them one attempt out of the three examattempts that are standard, and they might have topay a registration fee.
Full-fee students:b. Like all other students, a full-fee paying studentmay re-sit for his/her 2nd and 3d attempt, but theyare not entitled to free tuition in between attempts.They might also have to pay a registration fee in
order to re-sit an exam,
This means that a student who fails can sit for examsagain twice - but that the student can only followtuition by paying for the semester again.
c. Like all other students, a full-fee paying studentwho failed the 2nd semester general exam, but paid
for semesters 3 and 4 can continue studies and go
into internship and start on a final exam project - butthere can be no exam in the final project and thus no
diploma until all exams prior to the final exam projecthave been passed. UCN Business and UCN
Technologyt networks set the dates for the re-sitexams.
d. If a student cannot pay for the 2nd year, he/shemay take leave for a year and then come back to thecourse after having paid in May that year,

exam and proceeded to go on leave, he or she mayask for special permission to go to re-sit exams in theautumn semester.
f. UCN Business and UCN Technology does notguarantee that a student visa or other residencepermit is granted - this is solely the decision of theDanish Immigration Office.
In case of doubt the Student is referred to theInternational Office at UCN Business and UCN
Technology.
Article B.
Students are required to register the address andtelephone number of their accommodation once theyare enrolled at UCN Business and UCN Technology.
Students who change their address and telephonenumber of their accommodation during the period oftheir stay in the country must register the change atthe Administration Office.
Each student will be issued with a student card, whichwill serve as a means of identification and gives access toUCN Business and UCN Technology's services and
facilities.
Article 9.UCN Business and UCN Technology will
- Use endeavours to provide the Student withteaching, supervision, assessment and supportservices of a professional standard in the personal
course of study (the programme) for which theStudent is enrolled.
- Assist in finding accommodation prior to arrival, andonce arrived assist in finding accommodation forthose students having a temporary accommodation.
- Assist the students, whenever necessary, with officialDanish formalities, registration, information, etc, Itstays the student's sole responsibility to secure legalbasis for the studies at UCN Business and UCN
Technology - a valid study/work permit.- Provide access for the students to the libraries and
other UCN Business and UCN Technology servicesand facilities.
- Have staff and tutors/buddies available to supportstudents with practical matters in order to get settledin Denmark.
Article 10.
The contents of the AP Degree Programme inMultimedia Design and Communication + thecurriculum of the programme in question appear at UCN's
official web page www.ucnorth.dk. It is the student'sresponsibility to carefully read the curriculum beforesigning this Student Contract. However, the programme
description may undergo the process of minoramendments,
The students will be given home assignments, case
studies and group work. It is essential that the student is
able to work in groups. Homework, case studies andgroup work can in many instances be undertaken withinUCN Business and UCN Technologyt premises wherestudents have access 7 days a week - day and night.
The only official language used in the classroom byteachers and students will be English.
The students will have to pass all compulsoryexams/tests/assessments included in the AP DegreeProgramme in order to remain eligible for the full periodof studies.
All students shall abide by the rules governing theconduct of UCN Business and UCN Technologyexaminations specified in the Examination Regulations.
Article 11.After successful completion of all the exams of the APDegree Programme the Student will receive a diplomaissued by UCN Business and UCN Technology. Thisdiploma, recognized by the Danish Ministry of Education,the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation andthe Ministry of Culture, awards ECTS credits and can be
used as accreditation for further academic studies in theselected profile of studies,
