Upon a motion made and seconded, the Committee unanimously approved the Minutes of October 2,2014. 2. Discussthe 2014 Gaming Law Conference. The Committee reviewed a preliminary reconciliation prepared by the State Bar of Nevada's CLE Department indicating that the 2014 Gaming Law Conference held on November 7th resulted in $7,050.44 in net revenue for the Gaming Law Section (GLS) after expenses and the State Bar's fees. 3. 2015 BSA Conference -Update. The Committee reviewed a draft of the agenda for the June 1 8, 2015 conference. The Committee was advised of ongoing efforts to secure speakers from FinCEN, as well as the U.S. Department of Treasury's Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence to be the keynote the speaker.

ITEMS DISCUSSED.

1. Review and Approve the Minutes of October 2. 2014. Upon a motion made andseconded, the Committee unanimously approved the Minutes ofOctober 2,2014.

2. Discussthe 2014 Gaming Law Conference. The Committee reviewed a preliminaryreconciliation prepared by the State Bar of Nevada's CLE Department indicating that the2014 Gaming Law Conference held on November 7th resulted in $7,050.44 in net revenuefor the Gaming Law Section (GLS) after expenses and the State Bar's fees.

4. Nevada Gaming Law Practice & Procedure Manual -Update. Greg Giordano advisedthe Committee that Mark Lerner had agreed to act as a co-editor by proofteading andformatting the 18 chapters. As a result, Greg indicated that a draft of the Manual shouldbe ready for submission to the State Bar of Nevada within a month to start the publicationprocess.

5. Nevada Gaming Lawer (.2015). The Committee was advised that Lou Dorn and JenniferRoberts had agreed to act as co-editors, along with Greg Giordano and Jeff Rodefer forthe 2015 issue. The Committee discussed the following articles:

. 2015 Legislative Update of Gaming Bills

. Revisions to the Live Entertainment Tax

. Consolidation of Manufacturers and its Effects

. Fantasy Sports

. Form 10/PTC Changes

The Committee also briefly discussed who would be featured on the cover, includingA.G. Bumett, Patty Becker, Terry Johnson, Senator Richard Bryan and William S. Boyd.

6. 2015 Gaming Law Conference. The Committee was advised that the conference wouldbe held on Friday, November 6th at Red Rock Casino Resort. In addition to a two-hourethics presentation and one-hour Regulators Roundtable, the Committee briefly discussedtopics for the remaining three hours of the conference. Jack Godfrey suggested JimMurren, CEO at MGM Resorts Intemational the keynote lunch speaker and would speakwith Mr. Murren regarding his availability and interest.

7. Nevada Court of Appeals - Judicial Reception. The Committee discussed the GLS' co-sponsorship, along with six other State Bar Sections, a reception held on January 12,2015 at the Nevada Supreme Court Library in Carson City to honor the new AppellateCourt Justices. The cost for each participating Section was $1,000.

8. State Bar of Nevada - Annual Meeting Sponsorships. The Committee reviewed anddiscussed a list of available sponsorship opportunities at the State Bar's Annual Meetingin Seattle, Washington July 9-11,2015. The Committee concluded it preferred tosponsor events that were more gaming-centric, such as the 2014IAGA Conferencereception at the G2E it had sponsored. As such, the Committee declined to sponsor anyevents at the Annual Meeting.

9. Other Sponsorship/Scholarship Opportunities. The Committee possible scholarshipoffers for GLS conferences, essay scholarship for law students, as well as potentialsponsorships and scholarship opportunities at UNLV's International Gaming Institute and

the William S. Boyd School of Law. Maren Parry, Jennifer Carleton and JenniferRoberts indicated that they would review potential sponsorship and scholarshipopportunities and advise the Committee at is next meeting.

10. Listserve.com Message to GLS Members. The Committee discussed sending out aListserve.com message to GLS members interested in being considered for appointmentto any open seats on the Committee. In turn, it was determined that the message be sentas soon as possible with an April 15th deadline for interested members to respond.

1 1. Other Items of Interest. The following items were raised for discussion by Committeemembers:

. Pro Bono Gaming Employee Registration Program - Scott Scherer indicatedhe would follow-up with legal aid services in Washoe and Clark Countiesabout the program, including developing a procedure for tracking who isbeing assigned cases.

. Greg Giordano Professional Update - Greg advised the Committee that hewas leaving Lewis Roca Rothgerber to join the law firm of McDonald CaranoWilson as a partner to work with A.J. "Bud" Hicks.

12. Adjoum. With no other business to discuss, upon a motion made, seconded andunanimously approved, the meeting was adjourned.
