Our Graphite Mines and Processing Plantsto extract, process and deliver. The processing facilities in Namibia have been designed following our Canadian exper-tise and best-practices. In Japan, our Kitakyushu manufac-turing plant uses coating technology for the production of anode materials from natural graphite, complementing our wide portfolio and enhancing our offer in the electrical vehi-cles and energy storage markets. Our quality solutions have a broad range of applications in mobile energy, engineering materials, polymers, as well as refractories and metallurgy.

Imerys Graphite and Carbon’s fully owned natural graphite mines and processing plants are located in Canada, Namibia and Japan. In Canada, our facilities include two different locations: Lac-des-Îles, with the graphite mine and process-ing plant; Terrebone, with a graphite re-processing plant, for the production of expanded graphite and ultra-fine grades.
