THE COMPANIES In 2011 IMEDI TV formed IMEDI FILMS, a production company conceived purely for the purpose of making high quality, commercially viable, feature films. As part of this venture, IMEDI FILMS have made a substantial investment in production equipment and sound stage of International standards. SARKE STUDIO is one of the biggest, largest and oldest production companies in the Caucasus region of Georgia. Since 1998, SARKE STUDIO has been specializing in TV commercial production. After having over 800 TV commercials in the portfolio, SARKE STUDIO has now become a production service provider for domestic and international projects, for both Commercials and Film. SARKE STUDIO and IMEDI FILMS have partnered to produce films together. The two corporations are a match made in heaven. By joining the financial strength of IMEDI FILMS and the production experience of SARKE STUDIO, they have their goals set on making high quality films, for US and International markets. In 2011, they finished the first joint venture - 247°F. The film was premiered during AFM in 2011 and garnered much well deserved acclaim in the movie circles in the US. It was immediately picked up by Anchor Bay to be released during the much awaited Halloween season in October 2012.

A f t e r i t ' s i n i t i a l success, IMEDI FILMS and SAKRE STUDIO have committed to a slate of 3 new films.

The Casting (Filming June-July / to be screened at AFM 2012) When ten beautiful actresses show up for the audition of a lifetime, they quickly realize this is no ordinary casting call. Trapped in an abandoned factory, they are pitted against each other in a ruthless game of life and death. All they know is what a female voice has told them - she is one of them. In a race against the clock they must decide who they think she is, and the one they choose will die. If they are right they go free; if they wrong they face ever more brutal and deadly setups. The ruthless quest for survival spins off as one death follows another and only one question remains: Who is the Voice? Is she really one of them? Or is this whole ordeal as fake as the woman in the room?

The Salvia Experiment (Pre-production / to be screened at AFM 2012) In a remote lab, six young psychology students will explore the effects of the most psychoactive plant ever discovered: SALVIA DIVINORUM. After prolonged exposure to "The Experiment", they begin to s l ide into a fractured state of consciousness where they can no longer differentiate real ity from fantasy, and as hallucinations take on real forms, their lives spiral into a chaotic fight for survival.

DEAD MOUNTAIN (To be filmed in winter 2013) During the winter of 1959, nine hikers venture out into an isolated region of the Russian Ural Mountains, led by their brazen leader Igor Dyatlov.Encountering rough weather, Igor deviates the group up a shorter trail on a mountain rumored by local Indian legend to be cursed. When group members start turning into corpses bearing inexplicable, horrific injuries, the remaining hikers quickly believe they have fallen victim to the mountain’s curse. Igor, in accordance with the Soviet doctrine, does all he can to disprove evil’s existence and search for a logical explanation ignoring his friend’s pleas to leave. As the body count rises, and injuries become more bizarre, Igor’s desire to disprove the curse quickly turns into a futile obsession. As he slowly descends into madness, the remaining hiker’s fears push them to the limit, and eventually... to their graves. This film serves as a testament to the the Dyatlov Pass incident of February 1959. After much investigation Soviet officials determined only that "a compelling unknown force" had caused the deaths of the nine hikers; this has remained one of Russia’s most intriguing unsolved mysteries for over half a century.
