B. Impotantia Generandi WithApparent Abnormal semen :
Testes 1.Cryptorchidismcryptorchidism or failure of testicular descent into the scrotum, is a relatively rare condition in Camelidae but has been described in the dromedary , llama and alpaca.Cryptorchism can be unilateral or bilateral and is diagnosed when inspection of the perineal region shows a flat or absent scrotum (bilateral case). Or scrotal asymmetry in unilateral caseThe retained testicle can be abdominal or in a cranial position, near the sigmoid flexure.
Causes:- may be a hereditary defect so..
Treatment to promote testicular descent should be discouraged.The animal must be discarded from breeding
Nutritional Arginine&Carnitine :- F.A conc. in the mitochondria energy production sperm motility.
Zinc :- testosterone levels and sperm count
Vitamin C :- damage to the sperm’s genetic material
Vitamin E :-is antioxidant to inhibition free radical damage to sensitive cell membranes.
Glutathione/Selenium :- to instability of the mid-piece, resulting in defective motility.
Vitamin B12 :- cellular replication sperm count and motility.
