Batch processing the way you want it / need itFully integrated into the Imaris workflow. In Imaris 8, Batching is a natural step in the process of analyzing your data and testing hypotheses. Initiating a Batch is done with a single click. All results are automatically brought together and are ready to be compared and explored in Vantage.

Easy set-up of comparisons between experimental groupsImaris 8 enables you to create a comparison plot with just 5 clicks. Previously it would take approximately 50 interactions to create a similar (much more limited) plot.

Your personal “image data management” solution: local, easy to use and very powerfulImaris 8 is a desktop-based, personal resource management and processing solution. You will get the major benefits of a complex image data management tool while making minimal (or no) set-up and maintenance effort. You get the best of both worlds: power & features with no extra work.

Imaris 8 lets you organize your datasets according to the experimental setup or any other key parameter / conditions (species, size of structures, etc. ). Arena allows you to create multiple views of your data as it “only” created links to files/images on your disk – no duplication needed. Full flexibility without the penalty (i.e. duplicating data).

Increase productivity and reproducibility while reducing biasImaris 8 offers you a fully integrated workflow thus helping keep track of what was done to your images (i.e. what image processing was applied). In Surpass you interactively create the image analysis protocols (aka Creation Parameters) which will later be applied to multiple images as a Batch job. This process only increases your productivity and also ensures your work is 100% reproducible. Given that the Creation Parameters are applied automatically (and equally) to all images part of the Batch job your work is “bias free”.

Making better use of your floating licensesImaris 8 helps you (the facility manager) optimize the usage of your existing floating licenses and prevents the unintentional overuse of licenses. Each user will only “check out” the module/functions needed thus allowing other users to use all remaining modules/functions. This functionality helps you manage your Imaris licenses as well as your software related costs.
