The CAA is a statewide agreement governing the transfer of credits between N.C. community colleges and state public universities. Its objective is to facilitate the smooth transfer of students, providing certain assurances to the transferring student by identifying community college courses that are appropriate for transfer as electives and specifying courses that satisfy pre-major and general education requirements.
