By listening, our children feel appreciated for their contributions,
—big and small. We value their ideas.
Our Purpose
Imagine the power of a child. Imagine the unlimited capacity to see the world with joy and wonder. To greet each day as an inspiring new adventure. At Creative Children’s Center, school is all about possibilities. Instead of “how best to teach,” our approach proposes “how best to learn.” We’re grounded in the belief that all children are competent, gifted learners and the idea is simple—trust in their born abilities, provide resources and adult support, and children thrive. We’re proud to offer an exceptional school with a stimulating environment, great resources, with loving teachers and parents dedicated to honoring a child's right to experience such a school!
Our Philosophy
Our educational doctrine is grounded in constructivism. As a constructivist school we feel that children build knowledge by actively engaging in their experience. Our fundamentals have been influenced by Piaget and the Reggio Approach.
Our Summer Program Welcome new and returning students! Join the Creative Children’s Center Staff for the best in summer fun! Our unique programs encourage kids to learn about the world in active and engaging ways. By interconnecting the arts and sciences students develop a thirst for knowledge and critical thinking. Each day is a new adventure with unlimited possibilities and opportunities to grow!
Ages: Preschool to elementary students ages 3 to 8. Our curriculum is designed to challenge and inspire all ages and developmental levels. Students work together, with special meeting times for different age groups and developmental levels.

The Young Naturalist June 29 – July 3
Things that fly, grow, creep, and crawl; what can you discover in the great outdoors? Eco- literacy is all the rage, and this camp explores it all! This week we will plant seeds and trees, trek out on nature walks to explore what’s in our neighborhood and capture our discoveries in our handmade nature journal. We will find beauty in recycled materials as we transform and repurpose
them into new designs and pieces of art. Gardening, worm bins, seeds, flowers, leaf prints, line drawings, and more! Naturalists to the rescue as we learn to care and connect with the great outdoors!
Super Scientists
July 6-10
CCC takes children’s inquiry to a new level by exploring three science disciplines in one week! Chemistry, biology, and physics interconnect and weave throughout this session! Experiments explode as we pose questions, build hypotheses, and theorize the “how, what, and why?” Let’s find out! We will make magic mixtures, design an egg drop vehicle, blast off a rocket, and grow some biological friends! This super week introduces the scientific process in amazing ways!
A Mid-Summer’s
Day Dream
July 13-17 It’s a week of theatrical fun as we travel to our own mystical world of a
Midsummer’s DAY dream. We will encounter wonder and merriment as we are enchanted by mischievous fairies, wee folk, wizards and more! Who are the forest creatures and mythological beings that inhabit the woods and gardens at CCC? Shall we build them a place to play? Through theater, literature and art, we will share some old tales and write some new ones, transforming into characters of our own design.
Makers are Shakers! Design thinking and the Makers Movement welcomes you to CCC! This summer we
will expand our summer curriculum by opening up a TINKERING studio!
Makers Part I –Tinkering Time! July 20 – 24
Expand your mind as you explore the tools and materials in our Summer Tinkering Studio! Participants will explore the meaning of Design Thinking, planning and construction! From gears to gadgets, it’s tinker time!
Makers Part II—Structures and More July 27 – 31 From concept to completion, this week will look at the steps and actions needed to make our dreams come true! What’s on your wish list? Who can help and what is needed? From digital design to nuts and bolts, let’s do it!
