Mobile test system for ILS ground measurements

The ILS Checker software, combined with the NORMARC 7710 NAV Analyzer, forms a mobile test system for Instrument Landing System (ILS) ground measurements.

The system is developed by skyguide, the Swiss air navigation service provider, in partnership with Indra. It profits from the experience of skyguide’s maintenance and field engineers, and exploits the latest functionality of the NORMARC 7710 NAV Analyzer; integrated GPS positioning.

The ILS Checker is a Windows-based application that provides data acquisition, a graphical display of results and advanced analysis capabilities to accomplish the ILS ground measurements recommended by ICAO for preventive maintenance. These ground measurements are an essential part of corrective maintenance and preparation for flight checks.

The ILS Checker can be used in any vehicle or be installed in a dedicated measurement vehicle.
