Training Purpose – message from Gerald Campbell, Owner / Broker

As an Independent Contractor with Century 21 Camco Realty, we continue to

strive to improve performance through continuing education courses, special event

trainings, and in-house administrative support.

We are looking to improve our sales and profit performance now in order to

prepare for the market situation facing other housing markets nationwide. Specifically,

the performance of individual real estate agents within our office ranges widely. The

office is interested in boosting the performance of all agents to reach the current level of

the best performing agents.

We have found that the top performers used Microsoft PowerPoint presentations

often and demonstrated their adeptness at designing these presentations. The ability to

design appealing / high-quality presentations was identified as the most frequently stated

need identified our best performers.

Therefore, we have, with the professional services of Illustrative Design, designed

this two hour training course for all our Camco Realty agents. Specifically, we have

implemented an instructional program that will:

Verse the agents in the elements of appealing and high-quality graphical design

Allot time to practice the designing of presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint to

increase the agents’ comfort levels in using these principles

Customer Satisfaction Ratings Graph (from Needs Assessment)

Participant will have a basic understanding of PowerPoint and how it can be utilized

to improve productivity.

PowerPoint Overview

PowerPoint is Microsoft software that allows users to “create dynamic and high-

impact presentations.” The software allows the user to incorporate listing photos,

comparative market analysis (C.M.A.) information, virtual tour video clips, graphs,

charts, and much more. All these features can be used to develop listing presentations

that will grab your potential client’s attention and affirm your professionalism.

Custom design templates, pre-formatted slides, and cut/paste application allows

the user to create your listing and marketing presentations in a short amount of time.

Design Principles

1) Contrast – this is the most important visual attraction in a presentation. The idea here

is get your potential client focused on your presentation.

10

Page 11: Illustrative Design Development Document(Instructor Guide)[1]

DEVELOPMENT DOCUMENT ILLUSTRATIVE DESIGN

2) Repetition – repeat visual elements throughout the presentation. You can repeat

colors, shapes, logos, website addresses, fonts, sizes, concepts, etc.

3) Alignment – the goal here is to create a crisp, professional image. Symmetry!

4) Proximity – organizes similar information, create a clear and concise presentation

Example 1: Listing Presentation Cover Page
