Illinois Environmental Health Association Mission Statement

The Illinois Environmental Health Association will work to advance the Environmental Health Profession and promote sound environmental health practices throughout the State of Illinois.

Continuing Education

Attendance at this conference fulfills the continuing education requirements for the following purposes:

• Sanitarian training required by the IDPH in the Standards for Local Health Departments (5.0 hours Food Safety + 2.0 hours Drinking Water + 1.0 hours General Education + 1.0 hours

Waste Water = 9.0 total contact hours). • Typically meets the CEU requirements for the NEHA REHS (up to 9.0 hours).

• Continuing Education required for State of Illinois Licensed Environmental Health Practitioner (LEHP) (9.0 contact hours).
