Lorna BirdOrganiser of

Ilkley Art Trail.

As well as literature, we aim to put Ilkley firmly on the map of cultural happenings where visual arts are concerned.

Our mission is to support visual artists in the area to raise their profile, to exhibit and sell their work across many more places than are currently available to them. We aim to bring more art to public spaces and increasecultural tourism at a difficult time.

Lucia SmithIs the Ilkley Art

Trail’s right hand woman, keeping things focused and on track.

Thank you to our team of volunteers and supporters at going to press: Carole Barnes, Anna Nolan, Gillian Gilroy, Cheryl Woods, Jane Winn, Peter Biggins, Brain Berrett, Hayley Smith, Ilkley Literature Festival, FABRIC and The Ilkley Brewery Co. Also a thank you toKatherine West for website development.

Special thanks must go to Didi and Peter Metcalfe and Jane and John Thorne who are giving their homes as exhibition space for artists.
