Dieci anni di lavori hanno riportato alla luce le antiche case coloniche di un borgo che altrimenti sarebbe stato destinato all’abbandono, privato della sua antica vitalità. Un recupero eseguito nella convinzione che l’intervento dell’uomo, se guidato da rispetto e amore per la natura, possa migliorare il paesaggio circostante.

Le opere di bioarchitettura hanno riportato alla luce le strutture originali senza stravolgerne alcun dettaglio e piuttosto evidenziandone le caratteristiche, lasciando che fossero la natura e i vecchi fabbricati a parlare e guidare i lavori.

L’ex borgo contadino ha così ritrovato la sua sobria eleganza, aprendo le porte agli ospiti nell’autunno del 2007. Grazie ad un restauro antecedente è stata riaperta al culto anche l’Abbazia del 1300 dedicata ai Santi Giacomo e Filippo.

IL RESTAUROTHE RESTORATION

Ten years of work have brought to light the ancient houses of a village that otherwise would have been destined to be abandoned, deprived of its former vitality. A recovery run in the belief that human activity, if guided by respect and love of nature, can improve the surrounding landscape.

The works of sustainable architecture have brought to light the original structures without changing any detail and rather highlighting the features, leaving it up to nature and old buildings to speak and guide the work.

The former farming village has thus found its sober elegance again, opening the doors to guests in the fall of 2007. Thanks to a previous restoration, the Abbey dedicated to St. James and Philip was also reopened.
