The  IIC  Energy  Team  will  idenEfy  and  establish  the  business  case,  technology  and  security  criteria  necessary  to  drive  adopEon  and  innovaEon  of  the  Industrial  Internet  in  the  Energy  sector.   1.  Identify and prioritize highest value energy-related business problems to solve

2.  Define an IIC energy maturity model that could be used and shared with executives trying to start new programs

3.  Leverage the IIC reference architecture and test beds that lead to the establishment of standards & technology specifications

4.  Establish energy use cases that prove ROI outcomes of Industrial Internet programs

5.  Identify the relevant devices and measurements in the energy industry that relate to the Industrial Internet

6.  Coordinate with complimentary energy associations to leverage work of other organizations

7.  Research opportunities and challenges faced by the energy industry

8.  Build opportunity awareness through focused marketing activities that leverage the IIC membership
