SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION 3.1 EXAM INFORMATION

All questions are multiple-choice and presented one at a time on the computer screen. Candidates use the Next and Previous buttons to move between questions. Candidates may leave

questions unanswered and return to them later. During the exam, candidates may mark questions that they want to review later. After finishing the

exam, candidates may review the questions they marked, along with any other question in the exam, and may change answers. The review time is included in the total amount of time allowed for the exam.

Exams are available in many languages. Exams have a toggle that allows the candidate to see the item in English. For example a Chinese language exam will display the item in Chinese and the toggle will show the same item in English.

The IIA exams in China will be delivered in four 10-day windows each year. Exams will typically be delivered in March, June, September, and December of each year. Sites in China delivering IIA exams will need to have flexibility to add additional hours on an as needed basis to accommodate additional capacity.

3.2 REGISTRATION AND SCHEDULING

Registration Methods

IIA candidates can register and schedule by: Visiting the candidate website (http://www.pearsonvue.com/IIA). Calling the IIA registration number at the call center.

A candidate provides his or her IIA candidate ID to a call center agent. The candidate ID is printed on the Authorization Letter that the candidate receives from IIA. The agent then helps the candidate schedule an appointment over the phone. Global phone numbers can be found at http://pearsonvue.com/iia.

Note: Registration and scheduling are not available through test centers.

Registration Information

Candidates are responsible for selecting the particular language in which they want the exam to be delivered.

IIA candidate records are not shared with any other exam sponsor. This means that you need to select the sponsor name in Registration Manager before searching for an IIA candidate's record. The client name in Registration Manager is Institute of Internal Auditors.

All payments for exam fees are handled through IIA. Pearson VUE never collects or refunds exam fees for IIA candidates.

Pearson VUE is prevented from updating any of the information on the Customers screen tabs in Registration Manager, except for the email address. If a candidate needs to make name or address changes, he or she must contact IIA.

Candidates need to request accommodations from IIA, as noted in the "Accommodations" section. The Pearson VUE Call Center schedules appointments with accommodations and makes the necessary arrangements.

Rescheduling and Canceling

IIA candidates must reschedule and cancel exam appointments at least two full business days (48 hours) before the appointment, via the web or the call center. Candidates will be charged a $75 reschedule or cancel fee regardless of when they reschedule or cancel. At this time, candidates testing in China will not be charged a reschedule or cancel fee but must reschedule 48 hours before their appointment time. Appointments must be rescheduled within the candidate's authorized eligibility period. All registrations with accommodations need to be rescheduled or canceled through the call center. Changes made less than two business days before the appointment will result in forfeiture of the exam fee, and the candidate will need to reapply and be reauthorized by IIA before he or she may schedule a new appointment. Candidates with questions or concerns about the policy should contact the IIA through the CCMS system. Candidates should submit an incident in CCMS for the Certification staff to review. Candidates may reschedule or cancel appointments via the web or through the call center. Candidates will not be able to reschedule from country to country. Candidates who want to test in a

different country must first cancel the appointment and schedule a new appointment in the different country. The cancellation fee will apply.
