According to the reports submitted in the form of Academic Audit by the QualityImprovement & monitoring' Committees, similarly the information & documents submitted tothe committees by the concerned Colleges at the time of the visit, the committee constitutedaccording to section 90 (2) have scrutinized & inspected the documents and have conferredfollowing grades. Information was placed for consideration before the Management Councilduring its meeting, held on 15/6/2015. Accordingly, the Management Council has approvedthe minutes of the meeting, held on 4-5 June 2015 of the committees, constituted as persection 90 (2) of Maharashtra Universities Act 1994, as well as the grades conferred on total74 Colleges in the first stage vide its Resolution bearing No. M.C.A- 134/2015, dated15.06.2015.

Accordingly, the meeting of the committee, as constituted by the Hon'bleVice-Chancellor as per section 90 (2) of Maharashtra Universities Act 1994, was arrangedon 4-5 June 2015.

In this regard, faculty wise & District wise various committees have been constitutedby Hon'ble Vice Chancellor for quality improvement in the University and in AffiliatedColleges/Recognized Institutions. Out of which, some of the committees have visited theColleges and submitted their reports to the University.

According to the decision with reference to point NO.6 in the JBVC meeting, held on24/2/2015, the Academic Council has passed a Resolution bearing No. AC.A-08/2015 (C),during its meeting, held on April 16, 2015 and it was unanimously decided to consider thereports of the committees to confer grading to the affiliated colleges and necessary rights toconstitute committee be given to the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor according to the section 90 ofthe Maharashtra Universities Act 1994.

In accordance with the provision under section 90 of Maharashtra Universities Act,1994, it is necessary to have inspection of the Affiliated Colleges/Recognized Institutions, atleast once in every three years, to decide standards of academic & administration of theAffiliated Colleges/Recognized Institutions.
