The object of the Artist s'. General_ Benevolent Institution is to assist profess10nal arti~t s who are in difficulties arising from loss of work, sickness_ ~nd old age, and to relieve wido':'s and orphans, providm~ for the entire education of children to the age of seven teen or later.

NOTICE TO PURCHASERS OF EXHIBITS.

The Council of the Royal Cambrian Academy have en­d eavoured to secu re accuracy in the prices fixed by t he Artists, but are not responsible for any errors that may occur.

Intending purchasers must negotiate t hrough the Curator.

A Deposit of not less than 21l per cent. of the purchase price is required to be paid on a ll works directed to be marked as sold, and t he balance before a ny picture is removed. No p icture can be remoyed before the close of t he Exhibition.

The p rices in the Catalogue inclu de t h e frames. except where otherwise stated.

T he copyright remains t he property of the Artist unless there be a specia l agreement to the contrary at the tim e of purchase.

Neither t he Council of the Royal Cambrian Academy nor their Agents will be responsible for any loss of, or damage, or injury to. any works, however caused, whether in tran sit or whilst under their control.
