I see the Bible as having a unique internal structure: like that of a suspension bridge. Genesis and Revelation form the towers upon which the bridge's roadway hangs suspended on cords of prophecy. We'll do 'big picture' stuff like this before delving into individual prophecy passages. That way, individual passages have a useful and instructive structural connection to each other and to the Bible as a whole . . . . which is what it is, really, a 'whole'!

II. THE BIBLE AS A SUSPENSION BRIDGE
Nothing instills confidence in a builder than spending a few minutes with his or her competently prepared master plan.
Seeing the builder’s completed and coherent vision for a project gives one confidence in the usefulness of the separate steps.
God has had such a master plan from before the beginning. I would display it here for you in the form of a suspension
bridge, one that competently takes us from Genesis to Revelation.
