IHCIQIP.COM THE AKITA-NOSHIRO OWF PROJECT The Akita-Noshiro offshore wind farm project will be located near the Akita and Noshiro port. For this project, IQIP will deliver installaon equipment for the foundaons of the wind turbines. In total 33 monopiles will be installed, of which 13 will be installed near the Akita port, and 20 near the Noshiro port. The construcon started this year, and the project is expected to begin commercial operaons in 2022, supplying wind power to approximately 130,000 homes.
