THE DEDICATION OF HOLY NAME CATHEDRAL The July 26th Dedication of Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral is approaching quickly. It will certainly be a day of joy and celebration for all in the Diocese of Raleigh. This cathedral, our Mother Church, will be a place of worship for Catholics throughout the Diocese of Raleigh. Because there is a practical seating capacity, not everyone who wishes to attend will be able to participate in the Dedication. The Diocese greatly desires to express appreciation to those who have supported the Cathedral Pro-ject through prayer and/or contribution. Therefore, there are two opportunities we hope you will consid-er. First, there will be a live stream of the liturgy on the Diocese of Raleigh YouTube Channel for those who wish to view this historic ceremony. More information about this will be available closer to the Dedi-cation date. Second, each of our eight deaneries (regions within the diocese) will host a special Mass at the newly dedicated cathedral . St. Bernadette Church is in the Piedmont Deanery and that Mass will be Sep-tember 30, 2017 at 10 AM. DEDICACIÓN DE LA CATEDRAL SANTO NOMBRE We thank all who helped to bring the Cathedral to fruition, and we look forward to seeing you at Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral in the coming months.
