The exam can be taken twice a year i.e. every June & December

The exam centers are Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Cochin and Chennai

The registration should be completed by 30th March for the June attempt and 30th September for the December attempt

Exam fees of £160 covers 1 attempt & you can retake for the same amount

Date for next exam worldwide is 9th June 2011 @ 2.30 PM

Objective of the courseObjective of the course

On completion of the Diploma candidates should be able to:

Understand and explain the international regulatory framework of financial reporting

Discuss and apply specified International Accounting Standards (IAS) and IFRSs to practical situations

Prepare financial statements in accordance with specified IASs, IFRSs & International Financial Reporting Interpretations Committee (IFRIC) pronouncements

Prepare group financial statements including subsidiaries, associates and joint ventures

Eligibility CriteriaEligibility Criteria

A CA, ICWA or any other professionally certified accountant from any Indian or Foreign Institute

A B.com with at least 2 years of relevant work experience in the F&A department

Other graduates with at least 3 years of relevant work experience in the F&A department
