Who will this tournament help? Inter-Faith Housing Alliance (IFHA) was founded in 1982 by a group of community members concerned about the growing number of homeless and low-income families with children in Montgomery County. We began as a 24-hour emergency hotline and have evolved to a comprehensive program offering both emergency and transitional shelter with supportive services. We provide the opportunity and direction for our families to become self- sufficient, productive members of the community. IFHA, located in Ambler, provides emergency shelter for up to 90 days, and transitional housing for up to two years. Families in our program receive individualized case management that helps families identify their needs, set goals, and take positive steps toward self-sufficiency. Recovering from the effects of homelessness takes hard work, tenacity, and a lot of support—from the shelter staff, from public service agencies, from community organizations and from you. What is Inter-Faith Housing Alliance?
