About the Client As leaders in the Dairy Industry in Australia and globally, Parmalat specialises in the production of milk and dairy products including recognised brands such as Pauls, Vaalia, Ice Break, Oak and Breaka. It is one of the top players in the global market for functional foods. They provide exceptional quality products that deliver improved nutrition and health across the country. Parmalat prides itself on contributing to local community groups and making economic and social progress through professional partnerships. Client Objective In response to administrative changes, Parmalat required a new website design to effectively promote its new corporate identity and showcase its subsidiary entities. Parmalat wanted to visually explain their brand’s long history and cultural identity. In addition to this rebranding, Parmalat envisioned a section where children could learn about how their products are made. They also required a log-in section for franchisee and farmers to access business-specific information and services. The Content Management System (CMS) needed to be user-friendly to enable effective handover. iFactory Solution iFactory designed a strong representation of Parmalat’s off-line brand to clearly showcase their new corporate structure, improve site functionality and flow traffic through to their subsidiary entities. The design and content of the site was guided also by a broader digital marketing strategy to ensure the website had solid market definition, optimised keywords and effective lead capture methods. iFactory integrated a secure members’ portal for franchisees and farmers, as well as an online ordering feature for product home delivery. Additional features included a job vacancies section with search function and a registration of interest form linked to a database; a Kids and Student Information Centre was also added; and social network links included. Following iFactory training in the Content Management System (CMS), Parmalat staff were able to effectively manage content updates.
