To set Internet Explorer as the default browser:

1. From the Start screen, type Default Programs, and select the Appsfilter.

2. Click Default Programsin the search results.

3. Click Set your Default Programs.

4. Choose Internet Explorer from the list.

5. Select Set this program as default, and then click OK.

6.

Close Set Default Programs.

f nothing else works I found out how to get the app on the tiles.

Go to your Programs and Features in Control Panel, Then click Uninstall a Program....

Go to Turn On or Off Windows Features, on the left side (links)

Click the box that says Internet Explorer 10

Restart PC
