CitySpring’s Logo
Objective To present an esteemed corporate identity for CitySpring’s Infrastructure Trust.
This logo seeks to reflect CitySpring as a progressive, forward-looking, stable as
well as a reliable and dependable entity.
Rationale
The naming of CitySpring is derived from its two initial assets: CityGas and
SingSpring. Thus, the logo concept also took its design from this idea. The arc
emerges from the two “I”s, with the "I" representing the word "infrastructure".
The arc also forms a close linkage between "City" & "Spring", further establishing
the founding of the Trust.
There is also a metaphorical representation of the arc, showing the close
connection and relationship between the infrastructures, giving additional
emphasis that the basis of any infrastructure in a society or organisation is that all
basic structures must be interlinked and interconnected to make the macro-
organisation work.
The dots on the "I"s have a swoop of colours, subtly signifying that an inter-
exchange has taken place through the arc, demonstrating the movement of
information, commodities or people through infrastructures.
The colour of the arc which is blue symbolises a horizon, representing far-
sightedness and extensive coverage.
Type
A sans-serif font is chosen for its type-face, set in uppercase, expressing solidity
and structure, chosen for it's clean, uncluttered look. This position CitySpring as a
forward-moving and contemporary organisation.
Colour The colour green represents constant growth and evolution while blue signifies
dependability & strength, with a slight bright hue chosen to portray the freshness
and progressiveness of the organisation.
