CitySpring’s Logo Objective To present an esteemed corporate i dentity for CitySpring’s Infrastructure Trust. This logo seeks to reflect CitySpring as a progressive, forward-looking, stable as well as a reliable and dependable entity. Rationale The naming of CitySpring is derived from its two initial assets: CityGas and SingSpring. Thus, the logo concept also took its design from this idea. The arc emerges from the two “I”s, with the "I" representing the word "infrastructure". The arc also forms a close linkage between "City" & "Spring", further establishing the founding of the Trust. There is also a metaphorical representation of the arc, showing the close connection and relationship between the infrastructures, giving additional emphasis that the basis of any infrastructure in a society or organisation is that all basic structures must be interlinked and interconnected to make the macro- organisation work. The dots on the "I"s have a swoop of colours, subtly signifying that an inter- exchange has taken place through the arc, demonstrating the movement of information, commodities or people through infrastructures. The colour of the arc which is blue symbolises a horizon, representing far- sightedness and extensive coverage. Type A sans-serif font is chosen for its type-face, set in uppercase, expressing solidity and structure, chosen for it's clean, uncluttered look. This position CitySpring as a forward-moving and contemporary organisation. Colour The colour green represents constant growth and evolution while blue signifies dependability & strength, with a slight bright hue chosen to portray the freshness and progressiveness of the organisation.
