Reveuse was founded in 1989 by a woman named Sara Jane. Sara believed in dreaming, loving, reach-ing for the stars and never giving up. She created clothing that was soft and romantic but she knew that every sweetness was balanced with a edgy side. She believed in adventure and the free spirit; and creating beautiful things, simply because they were beautiful.

Today we carry on the same dream Sara imagined so many years ago. We design for the girl who is smart, creative, confident and comfortable in all aspects of her being, free and adventurous, sweet to tough to tomboy to romantic. A girl who likes to keep busy and push life to its limits, with traveling and hang-ing out and everything in between. Who loves Don-ovan as much as she loves The Dears, and can’t resist petting any dog that passes her by on the street.

Today, reveuse has grown to include, in addition to wholesale, both a significant retail and online presence. Currently, we operate over 40 stores in the U.S., as well as three wholesale showrooms whose teams have brought reveuse to over 1,200 specialty boutiques and department stores across the globe. In all phases of reveuse, we look to inspire our customers, our girls – the sweet and sultry, dreamy and tom-girl - with our assortment of apparel and accessories.

who we are

when searching for a name to represent our brand we looked high and far to find a simple word that embodies what we are, what we believe in, & who we strive to be.

After countless days of searching we came across the French word la reveuse, which translates, to ‘the dreamer’. We instantly fell in love and after viewing the translation sentences we knew this word embodied who we are.
