Get the Elephant

Out of the Room“Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes.

Art is knowing which ones to keep.”Scott Adams, Dilbert Cartoon Creator

How he did it:1. Made a statement and focused.2. Devised a system to bring about progress and achievement - and satisfaction. How drives what. When it comes to developing a system, keep it simple. “Complicated systems have more opportunities for failure.” Why? Because they're difficult to replicate consistently.Once you have a system that works, optimize it.3. Creating opportunity becomes the job within the job.

Here's his Dilbert Simple Success Story:He optimized his system by putting his email address in the cartoon, he receives ideas from readers. Using storyboard software, Adams only needs an hour to bring their ideas to life. It's an optimized system that gets the job done quickly, and frees time to buildsystems for other things.

Adams's message:Even when your system fails, it really doesn't. “Failure is your friend. It is the raw material of success. Learn from it. That's a system.”

Identify[Kathy Bass] Why do you think it is soooo hard for people to be real?

[Mari Smith] There is psychology at play, for sure. Some folks don't alway feel good about themselves... they don't want to risk being vulnerable, or "found out"... the "impostor phenomenon" so to speak. But I find that when you're willing to have an ongoing deep and healthy connection with yourself first, then that reflects outward and magnifies in all that you do.

In fact, my spiritual teacher has a wonderful saying:--> "The most important relationship you have on the planet is the one you have with yourself because everything and everyone is a direct reflection of the quality of that relationship."

"Being me at all times." requires: Self awareness, Psychology, Giving without Expectation and Focus on Intention

--> Bank account - make lots of deposits and be thoughtful of withdrawals
