Check out all the great regular events at Idea Stores and Libraries.

These activities take place every week or month. From reading to learning and making new friends, we’ve got lots to keep you busy. If you think something is missing let us know.

Feel Better with a Book [Adults]Tuesdays 3.00pm - 5.00pm

A book group with a difference. No need to read a book in advance - it’s an opportunity to read and talk together in a relaxing environment.

Toy Library [Under 5s]Tuesdays 10.30am - 11.00am

Your child can choose from a great range of toys to borrow.

Volunteer run. Term time only. Small charges apply.

Free advice on training, upgrading skills and job applications.

Book Group [Adults]2nd Wednesday in the month, 7.00pm - 9.00pm

Discuss books with fellow readers at our informal, free monthly meetings. Collect this month’s book in-store!

Golden Time [Ages 50+]Thursdays 10.30am - 12.00 noon

Have an enjoyable and relaxing time with old and new friends. Enjoy a cup of coffee, and chat with staff about new books, CDs and DVDs.

Do you need help with legal matters? PopLaw is a FREE legal advice clinic run by qualified solicitors who will offer initial legal advice on all areas of the law except family and immigration. This is a drop-in service, no appointment necessary.
