Themes and Narrative◦We have based this idea upon the lyrics of the song, meaning we want to

create a video which links with the lyrics.

◦We have chosen to portray the theme of love.

◦The idea is based around everyday people ‘falling in love with someone new everyday’ this links with the lyrics.

◦This will cause an emotional link with the audience as it may be something that some people can link with.

Imagery◦The lyrics of the song go “ I fall in love just a little ol’ little bit, everyday

with someone new” and because of this, as a group we came up with the idea of a guardian angel, making people fall in love with new people, seeing old relationships come to an end, as new ones form.

◦We can link our theme to the song as the song lyrics are based on love, using many two shots and extreme close ups we can show the relationships as they grow.

Narrative Ideas◦We began with the original idea of love and worked from there. Upon

looking further into the lyrics and hearing the line ‘everyday with someone new’ we came up with the idea to do a romantic love story of multiple people. This fits with Andrew Goodwins music conventions, relationships to lyrics and visuals.

◦We then thought about the idea of a guardian angel coming into place to bring the two people together, this would make the video more interesting as it brings an element of mystery into the narrative.

◦As well as this we thought it would be interesting to portray those who are falling in love as complete opposites as this would create a contrast and would act against stereotypes.
