    Interpersonal communication is a complex process thatis unique from other forms of communication, such as

    Intrapersonal,

    Small group,Organizational,Mass,Public.

    In Olden days, the linear model, says thatcommunication is a one-way process in which a sender

    transmits a message to a receiver.

    communication that takes place betweenpeople who are in some way connected.

    Interpersonal communication would thus

    include what takes place between a son andhis father, an employer and an employee,two sisters, a teacher and a student,twofriends, and so on.
