Item No. 301: To decide on the uroposals received for apuroval of fees structure for the courses started durins Academic Year 2014-15:

Item No. 3(a) : To consider and decide on ~roposals where there are no discrepancies.

The Samiti considered the proposals of the following Colleges/Institutes for finalization of fee structure for the students who joined the course started during Academic Year 2014-15. After deliberations, The Samiti decides to approve the final fee structure of the following Colleges/Institutes for the students who joined the course started during Academic Year 2014-15, subject to final approval/affiliation/permissions from respective Authorities. Figures are arrived at after considering the calculations drawn in the worksheet - calculation sheets of the respective colleges/institutes prepared by a Chartered Accountant. The students admitted in Academic Year 2014-15 and there after continuing their studies will pay an enhanced fee of 8% each successive year as per the norms for 2014-15 till completion of the course. For example if the fee approved is Rs. 1,00,000/- then from 11"~ years onward till completion of the course i .e. say 11, I11 and IV year the fees will be Rs. 1,08,000/- per @. I n case the students take V th years for co~iipleting the course then he shall pay the fee approved in that year. I n case a student joins the course direct in second year, then he shall be required to pay Rs. 1,08,000/-. Worksheet - Calculation sheets are available in the ofice.

This is regarding approval of fee for the course started during 2013-14. The

fee approved was Rs. 57,7851-. It is challenged.

The fee approved for the course started during 2012-13 was Rs. 63,000/-. It is

pointed out that depreciation was not taken into consideration properly. The

Samiti has also pointed out some difficulties in the accounts. Thereafter it was

prayed that atleast Rs. 63,0001- be approved for the course. It was stated that

atleast Rs. 63,000/- are required. The letter dated 15/7/2014 is also given to that

effect. We feel it is reasonable. We approve the same. Office to declare it.

Item No. 5(i) : To consider and decide on letter dated 5/05/2014 received from Armiet Alamuri Ratnamala Institute of Enqineerinq and Technoloav reauestinq for finalization of fees for MMS course same as 6.E and M.E. course dated 16/9/2013 for A.Y. 2013-14.

Considered that letter dated 5/5/2014 of the institute pointing out that the

proposal also included MMS course. Therefore the declaration made on 16/9/2013

required correction. Office to correct the declaration dated 16/9/2013 accordingly.

There is no relevance of letter dated 16/9/2013 of the institute at present.

Item No. 5(i)Ca): To consider and decide on letter dated 9/06/2014 received from Institute of Manaqement Development and Research (IMDR) reqardina pendinq fee proposal for 2013-14.

And

Item No. 5(i)(b): To consider and decide on letter dated 2/7/2014 received from Maeer's MIT School of Manaqement Pune India reaardinq fixation of fees of MBS and PGDM course for the A.Y. 2013-14.

And

Item No. 5(ii): To consider and decide on letter dated 25/06/2014 received from Institute of Manaqement Development and Research (IMDR) reauestinq to qive advice for fixation of fees for second year students for A.Y. 2014- 15. -

Considered the various letters received . They are regarding the approval of

fee for the PGDM course. They claim that they are not the members of the Association

which has gone to the court. We may point out that the matter is subjudice and is

pending. We find that there is Writ Petition No. 2394 of 2013 in which the interim

subsequently also. Therefore it is not possible to us to approve the fees as demanded.

But the Institutes are free to approach the High Court and get the clarification. I f the

court permit's then institutions we may approve the fee of those .

Item No. 6: Anv other matter with the permission of the chair.

1) The time to submit the proposal's online is extended up to 3oth August 2014, subject to payment of penalty of Rs. 10,000/- in the form of Demand DraftjPay order in favour of "SHIKSHAN SHULKA SAMITI, Mumbai" payble at Mumbai for per proposals/per course as late fee. The hard copy to be submitted within 7days thereafter.

It is mandatory to all Colleges/Institutes to submit their proposal online. This is apart from submission of hard copy (the print out of the online submission) thereof.

2) Mr. Lalit R. Gawde Chartered Accountant to be engaged for scrutinising the proposals. The payment to be made on the same lines as that of Mr. Vasa, C. A.
