Some of the devices we use in our daily lives are categorized in these types of devices

TYPES OF DEVICES
These are any and every device which are used to provide data into computer systems or any other information appliance
Input devices are a part of the hardware interface between a computer and an input device
An example of an input device would be: • Keyboards • Mouse • Microphones• Webcams
INPUT DEVICES
An output device is any piece of computer hardware equipment used to communicate the results of data processing carried out by an information processing system (such as a computer) to the outside world.
Examples of output devices: • Speakers • Headphones• Monitor • Printer
OUTPUT DEVICES
Equipment that can store data or information. The data can range from Handwriting to audio-visual
data Storage capacity varies in size of the device in most
cases Examples of storage devices: • USB • Portable Hard Disk Drives (HDD)• CD’s or DVD’s • SD cards
STORAGE DEVICES
Devices used to Communicate or have contact with anybody else with the same or similar communication device
Can take place through various frequencies such as satellite, radio and internet
Examples of Communication devices: • Mobile phones • Radio handsets • Satellite phones
