At MRL we strongly believe that we should contribute to the welfare and happiness of others at the same time as achieving corporate growth objectives.

We actively encourage and support colleagues to become involved in fundraising activitiesfor our nominated causes. We do this by making corporate donations to the cause, spon-soring employees fund raising activities and also by granting every MRL employee paid leave each year to prepare for, undertake or recover from fundraising activities on behalf of our nominated causes.

The causes we support are the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton (The Alex) and the Trevor Mann Baby Unit (TMBU) at the Royal Sussex County Hospital - we support these through the Rockinghorse Children’s Charity.

Rockinghorse was originally established in 1967 to raise funds to buy specialist baby equipment for The Alex, TMBU and other children’s hospitals in the South East of England.
