    Analyzer feature, users s hould check their hard drive several times a year.Error-checking, once known as ScanDisk , checks for lost les and fragments a s w ellas p hysical errors on your hard drive. Sometimes E rror-checking can recover the lostdata, but, more often, it deletes t he les t hat are taking up space unnecessarily.If a program on your system has st opped working, you can use the Windows TaskManager utility to check o n the program or to exit the nonresponding program.
