page 15Life in a Mountain TownWhy Steamboat Springs is where we call home.

Call it a gut feeling. We call it a search for a simpler way of life. Whatever the reason, we knew that Steamboat would be our base as soon as we got to town. Maybe it’s the 10am powder clause that every business has in their bylaws, or the quick mountain bike ride that we can take at lunch. It could be watching our kids learn how to ski or take their "rst "sh off of the line. Whatever the reason, we do know this - it shapes the way we look at trips and the effect that they can have on people, and its a little part of everything that we do here at Iconic.
