Teresa Harrison will be teaching iconography, called icon writing; which is actually a painting process. Iconography introduces ancient Greek and Russian artistic styles.

********************************************This six-day retreat includes the Eucharist, Gregorian chant, praying with icons, readings, silence as well as lively group conversation, free time and social hours. Icons will be written in Jo Sonia acrylic paint and gold leaf, a medium which most closely resembles the traditional egg tempera.
