INTERSTATE COMMERCE

DriVing thE EconoMy FY2013–FY20173

The challenge looking forward is to maintain, grow

and attract interstate commerce amid growing global

competition. While the economy of this region is sound,

specifically with the impact of tourism, agriculture, and

higher education, economic vitality requires robust activity

within interstate commerce. the goods and services

produced locally, but sold outside of the market, are the

driving force for increasing spending across our economy.

These dollars funnel into our communities in the form

of capital investment, higher growth and wages rates,

expendable income, and tax revenues.

ICAD Group’s partners, investors and visionaries help us promote high-value interstate industry, job growth and retention, and capital investment. To honor that commitment, we pledge to keep you abreast of issues, opportunities, achievements and obstacles.

With our vision and mission firmly in place, we have established benchmarks along the way. Through independent analysis, local and national studies and commissioned reports, ICAD Group will track each strategic initiative and provide timely updates. We will present the progress and the problems, showing the results of our work during regularly scheduled meetings and through one-on-one communication.

During these five years, we will measure new capital investment, new and retained wages, local and state tax revenue, along with estimated induced wages to show how interstate commerce is driving our economy and how ICAD Group is providing a return on your investment.

Together, we help these companies provide financial benefit to all sectors of our economy now and well into the future, creating a center of commerce and innovation with an unmatched quality of life.
