How do I... Action
Call someone on mySametime contacts list?
Click the name of aperson you want to call.The person does not needto be logged in toSametime for you to makea call from your computer.
Click the Call icon inthe toolbar.
Call someone who is noton my Sametime contactlist?
In the Find a person ornumber field at the top ofthe Sametime contact list,type the entire telephonenumber or the SIP URI ofthe person or device youwant to call. Click Callwhen your entry shows.
Make a video call? If you see the preferreddevice option, such as
, aboveyour list of Sametimecontacts, select SametimeComputer Phone. In theFind a person or numberfield at the top of theSametime contact list,type the entire telephonenumber or the SIP URI ofthe video conferencingdevice you want to call.Select the number when itdisplays. In the open callwindow, click Video >Start Video.
Call someone from myphonebook?
Click the Call Options
icon in the toolbar,and then click SametimePhonebook. Select anentry, and then click the
Call icon .

Change the number ofseconds before a callnotification terminates?
Click File > Preferencesand then click Voice andVideo in the navigator.Click Call Notifications,and then enter thenumber of seconds beforea call notificationterminates in Secondsbefore incominginvitation times out.
Store my contact phonenumbers and SIP URIs?
