General Overview The IBM Client Center Brussels is an event location for business sessions.

Everybody can rent IBM Client Center Brussels rooms for business sessions, except for the promotion of

products and services which are in competition of IBM products or services.

2.1 Room Bruegel

2.1.1 Location

Description Room Bruegel is located at the ground floor, first room at your right. It is a

mixed discussion and presentation room often used for video conferencing.

Standard Layout Tables in a U shape - with speaker desk.

Description Room Folon is located at the ground floor, at the end of the corridor. It is a

discussion and executive meeting room, with outside windows. It contains a

boardroom table with leather chairs, two club chairs and two lithographs of the

Belgian artist Folon.

3 Other Area

3.1 Entrance

3.1.1 Fiche

Description This area is the entrance of the IBM Client Center.

If the event owner / organizer wants to do badge distribution, we place a table

at 3.

An event roll-up can be placed next to the table.

1. 50“ Signage screen (ceiling mounted) – indicating the events and their

rooms. For a major event this screen can be used for event messaging.

2. 40” Screen on wheels. IBM Client Center network messaging. For a

major event this screen can be used for event messaging.

3.2 Bar Area

3.2.1 Fiche

Description This area is the open area where almost all catering is served.

The major eye catcher of this area is the central bar (1).

This are contains also a lot of information booths. E.g. free internet access

booth (6), IBM Kidsmarts (3 and 4), reference corner (5)

Sitting corner (Simpsons - 2)

Panel (7) shows a Smarter Planet theme and hides the refrigerator.

In this area, five lunches can be served simultaneously. For large events the

sitting corner (2) can be removed.

8. 60“ Screen (wall mounted) – showing current IBM themes. For a major

event this screen can be used for event messaging. Screen support

sound.

This screen can also show TV or input displayed in a room on the

ground floor (except Folon).

9. 60“ Screen (wall mounted) – indicating partners of the IBM Client

Center. Supports sound.

10. 65” Touch Screen on wheels. Showing IBM Client Center information.

Screen supports sound. Can be used as whiteboard or for interactive

presentations. For a major event this screen can be used for event

messaging.

3.3 Corridor

3.3.1 Fiche

Description The corridor contains several information booths. Access to four rooms via this

corridor. When the bar area is too crowded, catering is served in the corridor.

Sitting corner (The Flinstones - 5)

For large events the sitting corner (5) can be removed.

1. At the entrance of each room a 19” screen for digital signage.

2. 42“ Screen on wheels – showing current IBM themes. For a major event

this screen can be used for event messaging.

3. Watson Kiosk. Touch Screen in a kiosk, showing a simulation of the

Jeopardy game played by Watson. Screen supports sound.

4. Big booth with an incorporated screen showing the Watson solution.

Size The physical size of the area where pictures and videos are displayed. The size of a screen is described

by the length of its diagonal, which is the distance between opposite corners, measured in inches

format The display aspect ratio. This is the ratio between width and height of the display.

A 4:3 display has the same format of old PC and TV screens

A 16:9 display is a common widescreen display
